Congratulations to Political Science Ph.D. Program Alumni, Dr. Sarah Rozenblum, for receiving the Munich Security Conference (MSC)'s 2024 John McCain Dissertation Award!

Dr. Sarah Rozenblum has received the John McCain Dissertation Award from the Munich Security Conference, which is given annually to up to two authors of exceptional dissertations in political science on transatlantic relations. Her dissertation compares the striking differences in the role of expertise and institutions that produce scientific knowledge in forging the COVID-19 vaccine policy in the US, France, Germany, and South Korea. 

Dr. Rozenblum holds a dual Ph.D. in Political Science and Public Health from the University of Michigan. She currently serves as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University and as a Health Policy Researcher for the WHO.
