Graduation

1:00 pm to 1:30 pm - Graduates will begin arriving and check in 

• Students sit in own section separate from guests.

1:30 pm - Doors open, Rackham Auditorium 

• Guests who need extra assistance can begin seating at 1:15.

2:00 pm - Ceremony, Rackham Auditorium
 

3:00 pm - Ceremony ends

• Business Casual Attire Recommended (caps and gowns not required but encouraged)

• The venue follows the Michigan Stadium prohibited items list. Please review this list before arriving to Rackham to prevent delays.

• Parking will be available in the N13 Fletcher and N4 Thayer parking structures. Parking enforcement will be suspended in these structures as well as at all University parking areas/surface lots on Central, North, and South Campuses. To check parking space availability, Logistics, Transportation, and Parking have an occupancy tracker.

• This is a ticketed event. All guests and graduates are required to present a ticket in order to enter the event. To secure your tickets, RSVP by April 7, 2024.

• In order to make sure your name appears in the program, please apply for graduation through Wolverine Access by March 15, 2024. 

• You will not receive your diploma at Commencement. Diplomas are sent to students via mail following the conferral of their degree. For more information on the difference between Graduation and Commencement, visit Newnan Academic Advising Center's helpful guide.
