Two members of PCAP's Linkage Project reentry program are competing in ArtPrize 10, September 19-October 7, 2018. Kenneth Gourlay's Self Portrait and Earl White's Unspoken Colors will be shown at the Department of Corrections venue - visible from the sidewalk on Monroe Center St NW in downtown Grand Rapids.
PCAP sponsors an ArtPrize competition each year to bring the work of Linkage Project visual artists to a wider public audience. The two winning entries are selected by a volunteer curator. PCAP sponsors the ArtPrize entry fee, handles the online registration process, and plans a group visit to ArtPrize. This is the sixth year PCAP is partnering with with venue curator Charlotte Ambrose, a Grand Rapids area artist and educator, on the project.
