The Hub presents: The 2021 Internship Forum

Wednesday, February 10, 2021
6:00-8:00 PM
Virtual
The annual Internship Forum is designed to help LSA students navigate the internship search process and equips students with the knowledge to unlock their next internship opportunity. This year, the Internship Forum will be held virtually via Career Fair+, a virtual career fair platform that’s conveniently accessible via a smartphone or laptop.

Attend this one-stop internship event to answer the questions: “How do I get an internship?” “How do I maximize my experience?” And, “How do I leverage my experience towards my academic and career journey?”

By attending, you’ll be able to connect with:
- 15 past interns and current students about landing, maximizing, and leveraging a recent internship this past summer, within the first 30 minutes of the event.
- 25+ employers via scheduled 1:1 appointments or group drop-in sessions with other LSA students, within the remaining 90 minutes of the event. These employers hail from wide-ranging industries, all with active internship opportunities. They include organizations like Planned Parenthood, Red Ventures, Peace Corps, Teradata, Clean Water Action, and 826michigan.

Prior to the event, you’ll be able to:
- Get helpful insights and tips from past interns about the realities of interning remotely through posted presentations on the Hub’s Canvas site
- Gain actionable career advice from alums with established, decades-long careers and recent grads just breaking into their industry through Alum Advice videos posted on the Hub’s website, newsletter, and Instagram page.
- Get guidance on refining your résume, preparing questions for employers, building an elevator pitch, or anything else by scheduling a virtual coaching appointment or accessing drop-in coaching with a Hub coach

You should attend this event if you are:
- An LSA undergrad
- Actively searching for internship opportunities
- Interested in learning more about the transformative work experiences that could be had through a Hub employer partner
