About
Keenan Colquitt, Jr. is an enthusiastic educator with experience in student affairs administration, gender studies, assessment, and management. His research interests include gender identity development, masculinity, and gender socialization in college men. In addition, Keenan studies men’s violence, factors that motivate men to challenge toxic masculinity, and how discourse informs men’s gendered behavior.
Keenan received his BS degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University, his MS degree in human resource management from Stony Brook University, and his PhD in higher education administration from Bowling Green State University. In addition, Keenan has a graduate certificate in women’s studies from the Department of Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies at Bowling Green State University.
