The students submitted a German version of the cooking show 'Chopped'. Lentils have been an important staple in German cuisine over the years. They are mentioned in the famous fairy tale 'Aschenputtel', written by the Brothers Grimm. Today, lentils provide the base for many healthy nutritious meals, that are popular with German people.

It’s und and I making a German fondue. We only have bits and pieces of the proses, because there wasn’t that much. But we do have enough that you can see what we are making, and know what’s going into it. Und we tried to make it that our faces were out of the video as much as possible, but they are still in there. (The names “Anna” and “Johannes” are our German names)

Waffles share a common interest in both German and American culture. In the fifteenth century waffles were introduced from Netherlands. Surprisingly waffles were not easily available for everyone and it was specially reserved for the upper class. So we decided to bring this to your kitchen in a fun and easy way! Waffles tie into our American culture as well as it is a popular breakfast. Hope you like our video! Enjoy! We really recommend you try this as well!

My project follows the story of 3 chefs who are working on their final order of the day! Unlike their other orders, this one is vague and confusing; it's asking for the most "German dish". The chefs must work together and explore German culture to try to create this dish. If this was late, I apologize. YouTube took a while to upload this.
