About
I'm affiliated with both the Sweetland Center for Writing and the English Department. For Sweetland, I teach WRITING100 Transition to College Writing and also work with students in Writing Workshop, which I really enjoy. For English, I teach a variety of courses focusing on a wide variety of topics including horror, working-class literature, comics, and Middle English literature.
I am a first-generation American and was a first-generation college student, and I am committed to helping under-represented students succeed and to making the world of higher education a more diverse and welcoming place to learn and teach.
