Recap: Martha Sandweiss Beyond the Frame

Martha A. Sandweiss continued the Eisenberg Institute's 2015-16 programs on November 19 with her lecture, "Thinking with a Photograph: Alexander Gardner at Fort Laramie, 1868." Sandweiss is a professor in the Department of History at Princeton University.
On November 20, the Institute held the graduate student workshop, "Complicating the Color Line," featuring Nora Krinitsky, Amanda Reid, and Martha Sandweiss; the session was chaired by Michael Witgen.
