Over 100 folks from the University of Michigan’s Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology gathered on the Museum of Natural History’s grand staircase on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 in the Biological Sciences Building to record this moment in time. EEB moved into the BSB in stages throughout the spring and summer of this year. A copy of the image with the identification key will be placed in a 100-year time capsule that will be sealed beneath one of the pumas that flank the front entrance during the official BSB opening event in April 2019.
