Undergraduates who major in Biophysics have the opportunity to explore biological systems through the lens of physics, chemistry and engineering. The close-knit nature of our program allows our students to enjoy one-on-one contact with faculty and researchers from a variety of schools and colleges across campus.
Students usually declare their major sometime between the sophomore and junior year.

If you would like to transfer courses from another institution, please refer to the online transfer credit database. The courses listed here are pre-approved and will appear on your U-M transcript once the course is completed and an official transcript is submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions showing the official course grade.
If the course you are looking to take (or have taken) is not listed, please submit the official syllabus, including topics covered, to firstname.lastname@example.org. In your email, be sure to include the name of the school where the course was taken, the course name and number and your UMID number. These courses are then forwarded to our faculty evaluators.
