Biophysics Graduate Student Council

The Biophysics Graduate Student Council works to create a community for graduate students in the Biophysics program at the University of Michigan. To build an inclusive and welcoming community, we hold events such as bowling,  apple picking and ice-skating, just to name a few. We also coordinate happy hour events after departmental seminars.

We also reach out to the community, for example, partnering with FEMMES (Females Excelling More in Math, Engineering and the Sciences) to encourage interest in science, technology, engineering, and math among elementary-aged girls from Washtenaw County.

If you are a Biophysics graduate student and have a recommendation of a way that we can make your experience at Michigan more enjoyable and productive, please let us know! Contact us at biophysics.gsc@umich.edu
