Manuscript Consulting at Bear River:

Don’t fret—there is no one way to think about a poetry manuscript’s shape. Such an undertaking, however, requires a careful and honest listening to the poems at hand. Together at Bear River, let’s eavesdrop on your excerpted manuscript’s gossip, look at the ways the poems work together and/or bicker. Side by side, we will look toward the work’s instances of collusion and tension to explore different structural possibilities moving forward. Of course, please bring your questions and concerns—either large or small—to the table. It is my sincerest hope that you will leave energized about what your book might become.
