We know that sometimes life circumstances mean a break from the University of Michigan is the best course of action. Students seeking to withdraw from all of the courses they are enrolled in for a specific semester - even if they are enrolled in only one class - must follow the directions listed in the chart below.
The Registrar sets and publishes refund dates each term. It is not possible to withdraw from all courses in a semester using the “drop” feature on the Backpack/Registration page of Wolverine Access. Before requesting a withdrawal, students should first check that they do not have any account holds or open academic integrity investigations that may prevent the withdrawal. We want to do all we can to help you complete your degree.
