Alireza Salehi-Nejad is an Iranian multidisciplinary researcher at the Faculty of World Studies, University of Tehran. He is also the founder and the former CEO of Titan Incorporated, a business consulting company headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Alireza is a researcher at the Cyberspace Research Policy Center, and serves on a number of boards, including as the Executive Director of the International Association of Communication in Healthcare, the Executive Committee of the UNESCO Chair on Cyberspace & Culture, the Co-Chair of Ethics Committee of Linguistic Society of America, and Head of Academic Integrity Surveys Working Group of European Network for Academic Integrity. His other activities include serving as a Mentor for the Web of Science Academy, Associate Editor for the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Associate Editor on linguistics for De Gruyter Open, Advisory Council member of the Foundation for Endangered Languages, and Business Executive for Arash Plastic

Current Work

Alireza's area of research and work is interdisciplinary social sciences. He conducted studies on Islamophobia for the Center for Strategic Research. These studies focused on Islamophobia and the representation of Muslims in the British media, and Islamophobia in Muslim societies. In addition, Alireza collaborates with UNESCO, UNESCO Chair on Cyberspace & Culture, UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Alliance, and other stakeholders to promote media and information literacy to combat disinformation, nurture trust, enhance social cohesion, improve the quality of life, and achieve sustainable development goals.
