Residency Research Fellow Todd Meyers recently celebrated the publication of The Clinic and Elsewhere: Addiction, Adolescents, and the Afterlife of Therapy (University of Washington Press, February 2013). John McCurdy, Residency Research Fellow, will present "'No Soldier Shall...Be Quartered in Any House': Privacy and Public Space in the Late Colonial South" at the biennial meeting of the Society for Early Americanists on February 28 in Savannah, Georgia. McCurdy is an associate professor of history at Eastern Michigan University.

Graduate Fellow Ananda Burra was accepted to the conference, "The League of Nations to the United Nations: New Approaches to International Institutions," at the European University Institute in Florence. Burra is candidate for dual Ph.D. and J.D. degrees in history and law at the University of Michigan and recently received the Littleton-Griswold Research Grant for Research in U.S. Legal History, presented by the American Historical Association.
