This is a collaborative project with Professor Samer Ali and Murad Idris.
The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has approved a grant of $225,000 to the Regents of the University of Michigan, for use over 32 months, to support a Sawyer Seminar on the Comparative Study of Cultures entitled "The Africana Muslim and Genealogies of White Supremacy: Seminar for Interdisciplinary Study of Blackness and Muslimness."
