Faculty Advisor: Isis Settles
Stephanie Miller-Tejada is a doctoral candidate in the Personality and Social Contexts program. Her research examines how the various racial messages youth receive across multiple contexts (e.g., family, schools, and sociopolitical climates) inform their ethnic-racial identity development. Further, she investigates how positive and negative racial messages contribute to adolescents' understanding of racial (in)justice and systemic inequality.
