About
Korede is an economist with keen interest in the use of data. His work experiences and doctoral training have allowed him to explore and work with various types of datasets, thereby combining them with different quantitative techniques to answer pressing economic and social problems. This makes quantitative-related courses his preferred teaching interest. Particularly, his teaching interest cuts across quantitative analysis, big data techniques, and microeconomics.
His research interests are in applied microeconomics, development economics and health economics. He currently works in the intersection of these areas and has presented his research in conferences both at regional and national levels. Korede believes that research is an important tool in solving societal problems, and he is very much interested in research that addresses economic and social needs from a micro perspective.
