Malte holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics from Mannheim University and a M.A. in Philosophy from Tübingen University. His main interests are in Mind & Morality, especially Action, Control & Moral Psychology. He is particularly interested in the intersections of these topics with research in Cognitive Science and Economics. He is a member of Giving What We Can; Effective Altruism; Philosophy of Neuroscience Group @CIN and the Network for Constitutional Economics. He has recently received the Cornwell Prize, a Live Worth Living Pedagogy Fellowship, an IHS Junior Research Fellowship, the Adam Smith Fellowship, and a Rackham International Research Award. He has spent a semester in Neuchatel as a visiting instructor and a semester at Peterhouse (Cambridge) as a visiting postgraduate student. You can find his website here and his research here.
