2011-12 Philosophy Graduate Prize and Summer Fellowship recipients
- Chloe Armstrong has been awarded the John Dewey Prize for 2011-12. The Department awards the Dewey Prize for excellence in teaching as a Graduate Student Instructor.
- Paul Boswell has been awarded a Weinberg Summer Fellowship. Weinberg Summer Fellowships provide partial summer support to graduate students who have shown distinction during their second year of study.
- Billy Dunaway has been awarded the Charles L. Stevenson Prize for 2011-12. The Department awards the Stevenson Prize for excellence in a dossier. Billy has also been awarded a Fall Cornwell Fellowship. The Cornwell Fellowship is awarded to a graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding "intellectual curiosity" and exceptional "promise of original study and creative work" in their field of study.
- Warren Herold has been awarded a Weinberg Dissertation Fellowship. The Weinberg Dissertation Fellowship is awarded to a graduate student who has shown distinction during his or her first five years of study, and who is likely to be seeking an academic position in the fall term of his or her sixth year.
- Cat Saint Croix has been awarded a Weinberg Summer Fellowship and Cornwell Fellowship.
- Steve Schaus has been awarded a Weinberg Summer Fellowship.
- Patrick Shirreff has been awarded a Haller Summer Fellowship. Haller Prizes are awarded periodically for outstanding overall performance.
- Dan Singer has been awarded a Fall Cornwell Fellowship.
- Damian Wassel has been awarded a Weinberg Summer Fellowship.
