With collection support and management, M-PABI is a world-class resource for storing specimens safely.
M-PABI serves as a storage facility, point-of-research access, and administrative hub for research on pathogens and parasites occurring in wildlife and the environment, and data associated with or derived from these samples. All samples are annotated with high-quality collection and handling data to facilitate downstream use.
The repository is populated through independent research of its personnel and partnerships with investigators who would like to extend access of their specimens to a broader research community. Loan requests are reviewed by the M-PABI personnel, and where indicated, the researchers who provided the specimens.
