This keynote address by leading scholar of Islam and Muslims in the U.S. and Europe, Dr. Aminah Al-Deen, will inaugurate the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Seminar symposium, "Black Islam in the Americas." The conference is organized by the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Seminar (IISS) with support from the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University.
