How has your U-M Cognitive Science degree influenced your career path?

CogSci influenced my career path because it gave me a foundation for how humans make decisions and the cognitive/psychological aspects of health. It gave me a solid understanding of how the brain and its components influence the actions we take (or do not), and how disease/illness/injury can affect that. It also helped me recognize that I prefer to do community work and provide direct services instead of taking the research route, as I found myself looking for more when taking experiential-based courses.
