Prior to 35 mm slides, there were lantern slides: images developed onto glass plates to use in classes and presentations.
UMMAA has thousands of these old slides. As part of the RMC photo project, UMMAA artist Bruce Worden is digitizing them, so that the Museum can share them with the 21st century.
