In advance of his trip to the Philippines this month, collections manager Jim Moss chose three objects from UMMAA to be 3D printed so that he could share them with communities in the Philippine Cordillera, where they were collected.

The second object he chose is a carved wooden spoon with an image of a mother holding her child. It is believed to be from the Cordillera Region of the Island of Luzon, Philippines. UMMAA # 24645. Collected by Dr. James F. Corbett.

The original is on the left. The three 3D prints to the right are scaled a few centimeters smaller than the original.
