In advance of his trip to the Philippines this month, collections manager Jim Moss chose three objects from UMMAA to be 3D printed so that he could share them with communities in the Philippine Cordillera, where they were collected.
One of the three objects is this clay pipe with a metal stem, brass chain, and packing rod, of the Mankayan type. It was collected in Bontoc, Mountain Province, Philippines. UMMAA # 24747. Donated by pipe collector Dr. Clifford C. Young.
