The Department of Anthropology at the University of Prishtina in Kosova has published the first issue of Kosova Anthropologica, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal.
From the editorial by Arsim Canolli: “Our objective is to expand the realm of anthropological knowledge concerning Kosova and its neighboring areas, welcoming contributions from both local and international scholars, in both Albanian and English.”
Congratulations to Erina Baci, who is co-author on one of the articles in the journal (Geographic predictors of early 20th century northern Albanian tribal demography), and to Michael L. Galaty, one of the editors of the journal.
