The Detroit Institute of Arts is excited to announce the upcoming Native American Art Collection Inaugural Lecture with artist Preston Singletary. His work includes the cultural art of the Tlingit, glass art of the Northwest, and music. In this presentation, he will discuss the origin and evolution of his art.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place at the Detroit Institute of Arts’ Lecture Hall on Wednesday, November 1st at 6 pm, followed by a reception at 7 pm.
