Andrea Blaser, UMMAA collections manager, talks to a group of undergraduate students in the summer class BIO 173: Introduction to Biology Lab. The focus was anthropology's relationship to its subject and material: in their approach to scientific research, anthropologists strive to take into account cultural knowledge and relationships with the communities from which the material and information was extracted.
