In early November, UMMAA was part of the BIO 173: Intro Biology Lab tours of the Research Museums Center. More than 800 students toured the facility over four days. This was the first time that UMMAA participated in this effort. The goal was to get a large number of students engaged in the work that the Museum does at RMC. UMMAA curators and archaeology graduate students talked about how the Museum approaches its work with collections through the lens of culture and community engagement.
