About
Sarah studies modern and contemporary art with research interests centered around the relationship between art and technology. She is especially interested in the role of technology in art-making practices and the appropriation of the utilitarian in art-making. Sarah is also interested in material culture, informed by a background in anthropology, as well as prehistory, which she explored in her undergraduate thesis on Acheulean "handaxe oddities." She received her B.A. in art history from the University of California, Berkeley.
