The submissions deadline for all writing contests administered by the Hopwood Awards Program is precisely noon, Eastern Time on January 12, 2022 except for students graduating in Fall 2021, who should submit by December 12, 2021. No late entries will be accepted. Online submissions only. Contests are open to University of Michigan graduate and undergraduate students at the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses enrolled for a minimum of six (undergraduate) or three (graduate) credits. There is no fee to enter. See
