Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage prospective applicants' inquiries
- Graduate admission, recruitment, orientation
- Assist with jobseekers process
- Manage third term reviews
- Maintain course descriptions
- Update graduate handbooks
- Manage graduate students' milestones: prelim exams, dissertation defenses, advance to candidacy, dissertation committees, pre-prospectus, prospectus, foreign language exams
- Assist with registration issues/questions
- Issue class permissions
- Disburse students' fellowships, financial awards, and benefits
- Assist with day-to-day operations of student services and Graduate Office
- Graduate Office website updates
- Manage students' files
- Assist with MFA take-home exam
- Assist with collection of MFA thesis
- Maintain e-mail listservs
