Registered student organizations may apply for up to $500 in funds.
We invite registered student organizations to submit proposals for events that align with the Center's mission to advocate for performance as a mode of research and as a means of public engagement, centering on underrepresented, non-Western, and diasporic voices, bodies, and acts. We seek to partner on events that cultivate dialogue about performance practices, performance theory, and topics relevant to the field of Performance Studies, particularly through a global lens. Selected organizations will be asked to meet once, via Zoom, with a CWPS staff or faculty member during the planning process, and provide a blog post for the CWPS website.
Please send a 150-250 word description of your proposed event and a budget detailing anticipated costs with all sources of support listed (pending and confirmed) to firstname.lastname@example.org. All information must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the event.
CWPS funds cannot be used for any of the following:
- to pay stipends to student event organizers;
- costs associated with curricular projects, such as degree recitals or thesis projects;
- individual travel / study abroad.
