Courses

The University of Michigan offers numerous Performance Studies related undergraduate and graduate courses, presenting students a range of opportunities in performance theory, practice, research and community-engaged performance work. The largest number of courses are offered in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) and the School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD). Performance Studies related courses can also be found in other professional schools, such as Art & Design, School of Information and School of Social Work. Center for World Performance Studies works to create a comprehensive list of these courses each semester.

Please note that course offerings are subject to change and that courses listed in these files may be cancelled or closed due to reaching the enrollment cap. Please contact the department or school for the up to date information.  For a complete listing of courses offered by term with up to date information on meeting times and enrollment status, go to the LSA Course Guide.
