WISE Peer Mentoring Program

This program is open to University of Michigan undergraduate students who plan to major in a science or engineering field. While our target audience is transfer and freshman women, we welcome any student who feels they would benefit from a mentor.

Upper level student in science or engineering share resources and advice, skills, perspectives and experience through monthly (or more) meetings and emails. They can help with choosing a major, exploring study abroad, and finding the resources you need to be successful in science and engineering at UM.

Mentor groups start the first week of the term, but we are willing to try to find a mentor for you later in the term. We send out information about peer mentors via our WISE undergraduate email list. If you are interested in being a peer mentor, or getting a peer mentor, or joining our undergraduate email list please contact Jamie Saville at WISE programs are open to any interested student.
