Abigail Dumes

Abigail Dumes, Women's and Gender Studies Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies and Associate Professor, and her colleagues have recently published an article in the journal Medical Humanities. The article, titled "Patients as knowledge partners in the context of complex chronic conditions" is Open Access and discusses the role of patient knowledge regarding prior conditions, chronic illnesses, disability, and the role of the patient with respect to research in contributing to scientific advancements.
