About
Jelena Krivokapić is an Associate Professor in Linguistics. The focus of her research lies in speech prosody. She is interested in the relation between prosodic representation and articulation, acoustics, and perception, and in how the broader context of language use shapes prosodic structure. She works within the framework of Articulatory Phonology. One of her current collaborative projects examines evidence for the prosodic hierarchy in articulation. Another collaborative project is focused on the planning of prosodic structure, and her most recent work, also collaborative, examines the effects of prosodic structure on body gestures.
