Third Party Solutions and AEM (April 2016)

Brittan Woodman from U-M Information and Technology Services (ITS) spoke to the group about the powerful survey software Qualtrics, which can easily be embedded into AEM utilizing the External Component, and Web Serives own Jessica Wolking enlightened the group on the use of Formidable and Nelnet in their WordPress installations.

AEM Show and Tell (February 2016)
Our lead planning group - Alicia Farmer (Biostation), Vanessa Myesky (PCAP), David Merchant (II) and Aaron Valdez (Sweetland) - presented 10 "cool" features they found on some of the new websites Web Services has rolled out as part of the College's transition from Open Text to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Also featured is a presentation by Web Services Instructional Designer Peg Kelley on how to work with images in AEM as well as a quick tour of Web Services own AEM site.

Web Content Editors describe their experiences as AEM Pilot group members. As the first members of LSA to transition from the Open Text CMS to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), they share some valuable insights.

Web Services Q & A (March 2016)

The March Web Content Managers meeting was an open forum, facilitated by the Web Services Team, to answer any and all questions regarding Content Author's web experience (Open Text, AEM, Word Press, Google Analytics, and Mail Chimp).

Additionally, she walks theough the new Analytics for Adobe Experience Manager and the importance of checking your data regularly to make sure your content is effectively reaching your intended audiences. 


Accessibility 101 (November 2015)
University Accessibility Coordinator Scott Williams shares best practice techniques for making LSA websites accessible to the widest possible audience, which is one of Web Services highet priorites with the transition to AEM.
