Fahmida Ahmed

Fahmida is a senior from Hamtramck studying Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB). She worked as a research assistant during her initial years as an undergraduate student in the department of Pediatric Pulmonology at C.S. Motts Childrens Hospital. Outside of school and research, Fahmida is avidly involved in student organizations such as Michigan is My Home and the Multicultural Association for Pre-Health Students. Fahmida also enjoys regularly volunteering with the UM Health System and Delonis Center. Fahmida loves watching Korean television dramas, painting, reading and baking. She is excited to meet new students in her UROP seminar and work with them throughout the year. She is also excited to finally get ready to graduate! Fahmida is really proud of the personal growth she has made over the years.
