Siena McKim

Hello! I am a freshman studying at Stamps, the school of art and design. With my art degree I want to focus on designing sustainable products and be a promoter of respecting the earth. Before working for the Mollusk division at The Natural History Museum I taught adult and children art classes in my hometown San Diego, California. Now that I am at Michigan I enjoy going on forest walks looking for moss, fungi, and all kinds of interesting wild life. Nature is my inspiration, I feel like a part of something when I am amongst the swaying trees and flying beetles. I enjoy working here because of my intense need to understand animals, what place they have in our environment and what kind of history do they carry.
