Science Cafés provide an opportunity for audiences to discuss current science topics with experts in an informal setting. All Science Cafés take place at Conor O’Neill’s Traditional Irish Pub, 318 South Main Street, Ann Arbor. Hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 PM; program 6:00-7:30 PM.

The politics of oil, water, and food production are deeply intertwined with human-caused climate change and political upheaval, especially in the Middle East.  Join us as we explore and discuss some of the details with Jennifer Blesh, Assistant Professor for U-M School for the Environment and Sustainability and Juan Cole, Professor of History and Director of the U-M Center for Middle Eastern and North African Studies.
