Meet U-M scientists and participate in activities related to their research!  Scientists are part of the U-M Museum of Natural History’s Science Communication Fellows program which brings researchers and the public together in
face-to-face interactions.


Scientist Spotlight at Ypsilanti District Library

Visit with University of Michigan scientists and participate in activities to learn about their cutting-edge research! U-M scientists in many fields will be stationed in the Ypsilanti District Library's Whittaker Road branch community room with unique, interactive activities focusing on their own current work. They will chat about their research with curious visitors of all ages. These researchers are Science Communication Fellows with the U-M Museum of Natural History's Portal to the Public program. This program is offered in conjunction with the Library’s STEMfest where families can experiment and tinker at hands-on science stations.
