Recently the Michigan Daily published an article about the four U-M museums that are housed at the Research Museums Center south of central campus: the U-M Museum of Zoology, the Herbarium, the Museum of Paleontology, and the Museum of Anthropological Archaeology. in the article, "How four UMich museums drive cutting-edge research," by Abigail VanderMolen and Astrid Code, the writers explain why the work done at these research museums is critical, despite the fact that they function "behind the scenes" and are not open to the public.
