John O'Shea, Curator of Great Lakes archaeology at the University of Michigan's Museum of Anthropological Archaeology and scientific researcher Lisa Sonnenburg of the environmental consulting firm Stantec Consulting Inc. in Hamilton, Ontario were recently written up in the Great Lakes Echo, featuring their discovery of caribou "drive lanes" from 9,000 years ago deep below the waters of Lake Huron.
