On Friday, March 22, Megan Berkobien, a PhD candidate in comparative literature at the University of Michigan, will give a talk on creating community at the Scarab Club in Detroit. Berkobien, who worked as an intern at the club, discusses how the Scarab Club could use creative exhibiting and programming to foster local artists. The talk is part of the Museum Studies Program’s Museums at Noon lecture series. Noon to 1 p.m., Multi-Purpose Room (Room 125), University of Michigan Museum of Art. The event is free and open to the public.
