Join the Huron Valley Chapter of the Michigan Archaeological Society for their October meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, at the Kelsey Archaeological Museum. Dan Wymer, state vice president of the MAS, will speak on the Wooster Site and the important role of research done by MAS members.

The Wooster Site is a rare Michigan Paleoindian site dating back 9,000 to 10,000 years. The dig is called the Dency Terrill Memorial Dig, in honor of Dency Terrill, an enthusiastic long-term member of the Huron Valley Chapter, as well as an MAS Board member.

The Kelsey Archaeological Museum is at 434 S. State St, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on the University of Michigan campus. Parking is available in the parking structure on Thompson St., about three blocks away, or occasionally on the street nearby.
