The spring 2020 edition of Crossroads: The University of Michigan Undergraduate Journal of Anthropology, is now available. 

In this issue, seven students share their research. Cameron Voss writes about communication between generations in post-genocide Rwanda; Victoria Garrow reviews the research on addicted pregnancies; Fatima Rizvi explores a possible evolutionary role for the hijab; Jenny Michlich examines fossil evidence for communication and audition in hominins; Celia Weberg and Madeline Topor use mortuary hypotheses on data on ethnographic and funerary data from a small village in Greece; and Xiaoke Yang discusses the exploitation of girls within the system of compensated dating in Japan.
