Course Description
From colony collapse disorder to genetically modified food, organic gardens, and monarch butterflies, insects have become headline news.
Examine the huge impact insects have on the environment (natural and human-modified habitats) and the equally significant influence of humans on insects (pest control, genetically modified crops, and more). This course considers insect ecology, behavior, and physiology through lecture, lab, and extensive field experience.
