UMBS welcomes Jumanah Saadeh as Student Services Coordinator
The UMBS team is thrilled to welcome Jumanah Saadeh as our new Student Services Coordinator. Her undergraduate degree in biology and experience working in student affairs positions her for a smooth transition into her new role. "I'm most excited about reconnecting with my background in science and pairing it with student facing program coordination."
Saadeh joins the UMBS staff with two and a half years' experience in student affairs at the U-M School of Information. There, she worked closely with the registrar team to organize admission logistics and deliver effective student service. In her role at UMBS, Saadeh looks forward to guiding students through the application and registration processes, while coordinating travel and financial aid and supporting recruitment efforts. "The Biological Station offers such engaging programming. I'm especially drawn to the Transforming Learning Program, which seeks to bring a more diverse student body into the fold - not just in terms of background, but discipline as well."
In her off time, Saadeh likes to swim, take walks, and spend time with family and friends. She hopes to continue to pursue horseback riding this summer, as well as develop her cooking skills.
